Pannier Racks for BMW R1250GS / GSA

The Adventure Moto/Outback Motortek X-Frames for the BMW R1250GS / GSA are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of Rotopax, hard panniers and soft luggage.

We also offer standard pannier racks. The difference between our standard pannier racks and the X-Frames is that the standard frames don’t feature RotoPax mounts and tabs welded on all four corners.

Standard Pannier Racks

Designed and manufactured by Outback Motortek. Hoop’s external dimension are 350mm (W) x 250 (H) made of 18mm diameter tubing.

    The only downside of this rack is the the bar to the peg is just in front of the exhaust mounting screw which makes it a bit tricky to install.

Our protection combo provides coverage for the cylinder heads, plastic fairings, exhaust header, catalytic converter and so on. Total weight: 15.6kg (GS) and 16kg (GSA). The Outback Motortek lower crash bars are NOT compatible with the "40th Anniversary" BMW R1250GS and BMW R1250GSA models. This is due to the Option 719 cylinder cover installed by the factory. The rest of the models are not affected.

X-Bracket platform for Outback Motortek Standard Pannier racks Built from a strong sheet of aluminium, the X-Bracket is a mounting platform for our Standard Pannier racks. It is designed to be used as a base in order to mount a variety of accessories, including but not restricted to, a 1 gallon ‘Rotopax’ (or similar) fuel/water canister, our Tool Box, a First Aid kit, etc.* The sliding X-Bracket can be mounted in the centre of the pannier racks or close to either edge, allowing the mounting of accessories on the outside as well. Shifted all the way forward or backward, it'll make room for strapping a smaller 6-10L bag next to it. *Fuel canister and other mentioned accessories are not included in the purchase.
